Kedar Bhusal

Kedar Bhusal is a Kathmandu-based film producer, writer, and director with over 12 years of experience in the Nepali film industry. He began his career in 2012 as an Assistant Director on Hostel Returns and steadily expanded his craft across major productions before completing his BFS in Writing & Direction from Oscar International College in 2020.
He is the founder of Flicker Arts Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., a production house dedicated to supporting independent Nepali cinema. Kedar has produced numerous notable films, including Kaussidd, Ma Rajesh Hamal, Kumari (upcoming), and the documentary A Place Where Rhododendrons Bloom.
His festival works include Ka, 2–4 Din, The Doll's House, Chumpa: A Doll Under the Basket, and Rihanna, which premiered at the Busan International Film Festival 2025.
His international collaborations include narrative films and global productions such as Mirai and Tyson Naidu with People Media Factory, 14 Reels Entertainment LLC, and Melodrama Productions (India). He has also contributed to commercial and reality TV projects like the Hero Xoom Scooter advertisement and Amazing Race Finland.
Since 2021, he has also served as a mentor in Writing and Direction at Everest Film Academy, guiding emerging filmmakers. His work continues to focus on authentic storytelling, regional voices, and international creative partnerships.
